Michael Sugar is an extraordinary and unpredictable musician hailing from New Orleans, now residing in the Bay Area.
He has lent his bass playing talents and guitarmania to many local and touring bands, most notably, Jambay, The Everyone Orchestra, Kingfish, Melvin Seals, The Goldbrickers, Earl Thomas, Essence, Materialized, and most recently, The Sunshine Brothers.
You may call him Shoog, you may call him Sugar, Sucre or El Zucar for his
sweet tones and congenial personality. Luckily he didn't create
this site or this description would have been considerably humbler
and yet less true.
